A Video Camera Operator Who Stands Out From The Crowd
The main character in the award winning documentary called Cameraman was a professional camera operator named Brian Smith. When he got hired by the crew of the Adventure Company to go on a three day hike in the Amazon, he had no idea what kind of job he would be getting. The Adventure Company is known for making extreme and sometimes dangerous high quality films that are truly breathtaking. However, their previous films had been more about adventure than crime or climate change and it was obvious that Brian was going to be put in a tough situation when he started work on this new film.
In the film, the Adventure Company hired a small team of very smart and ambitious people who decided that they were going to climb the Amazon rainforest in search of the mythical River Amazon and then take pictures from every beautiful setting they could see. In doing so, they also hoped to get some well-deserved recognition as some of the best video camera operators in the world. After some initial resistance from the locals, the crew managed to sneak into a village hidden in the heart of the Amazon forest and they were surprised to find that the local authorities were actually working with the film crew.
Knowing that the permission to film in the area needed to be obtained from the local Peruvian government the cinematographer and his crew set out with a lot of trepidation. However, when they finally reached their destination and despite all the danger they encountered, they got their approval and within a few days the whole thing began. The adventure of filming the adventure of trekking through the rainforest was a truly exciting one and the adventure of being a great videographer was also something that the cinematographer had never experienced before. He went on to win a number of awards at various film festivals for his work on this film including an award for Best Cinematography. Now this is a man who not only gets recognized for his excellent photography work but also for being a great adventure videographer.
